Monica Demarco was born and raised in the Albuquerque NM desert. Demarco studied piano performance and theory/composition at the University of New Mexico and graduated with a B.M. in music in 2009. Demarco is heavily influenced by the classical composers Henry Cowell, John Cage, Charles Ives, Prokofiev, Bartok and George Crumb.
