Born Nijah Cunningham in 1990 (Bronx,NY) to Jamaican parents, Nijahova spent most of his youth in Florida after his mother relocated the family there in 1997. He was heavily influenced by his siblings to write and create rhymes from an age as early as 9. Using the crude, basic recording techniques available to them create songs, Nijahova started releasing music via MySpace at the age of 15. After a ten-year hiatus, Nijah returned in the summer of 2017 with four full-length mixtapes (Jungle Tape, Vol I; Jungle Tape, Vol II; MVP; Mikeavelli), all of which were recorded and released during a four-month span.

With the guidance of his brother and manager, CunninBDon, Nijahova doesn’t seem to be slowing one bit. Mixing a plethora of different styles of Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and the occasional blend of Spanish language, it’s fair to say he has a little something for every music fan.
