2. Lee Davis was the performing name of American singer David Lee Shafer, Sr. (born 30 September 1939, West Easton, PA, died 24 August 2018, Leesburg, FL). He released his first promotional demo titled Betty Jean in 1956, then his first single Three Young Men / Flower Song in 1959.
