Religious Cancer Lyrics

Confess before Jezus...
The word of God knows more than you do...
Confess before Jezus...
So blind if you pray
Lost another day
Get off your knees
Do something for yourself
It'll teach you nothing
About the world today
Take the belief and throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
The church and all it's glory
Is draining all your money
No Gods, no masters
Religious cancer
It'll teach you nothing
About the world today
Take the belief and throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
The name Jezus has authority and in it is the power of the Holy Ghost
that name is batched by Heaven's power, Halleluja
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Destroy it all
Throw it away
No
Gods
No
Master
No
Gods
No
Master
No
Gods
No
Master
No
Gods
No
Master
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Throw it away
Confess before Jezus...
Throw it away
The word of God knows more than you do...
Throw it away
Confess before Jezus...
Throw it away

Nailbomb was an industrial thrash metal band that formed in 1994 as a side project by Brazilian musician Max Cavalera of Sepultura and Soulfly and English musician Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, they recorded a studio album, titled Point Blank, which was released through Roadrunner Records. They also played only a single live performance before disbanding.

Nailbomb hosted other musicians to play guest spots, including D.H. Peligro (Dead Kennedys), Max Cavalera's brother Igor Cavalera (Sepultura co-founder), and Mexican guitarist Dino Cazares (co-founder and guitarist of Fear Factory, Brujeria and Divine Heresy).

Nailbomb's second album, Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide, was a live recording capturing the band's appearance at the 1995 Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Read more on Last.fm.
