Remember That Song Lyrics

Do you remember that song?
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me (break it for me [5x])
Mr. DJ set me free
Mr. DJâE¦ set me free

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

Sometimes I sit and dream
About the summer days and long lost nights
I hope you think about me
I hope someday I see your face again
I smile in recollection all the things that might have been
Might have beenâE¦

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

We could wait through the night
We could wait until the night was over (over)
Maybe overnight (over night [2x])
All I ever wanted was to hear you play that song again
Dancing with the one who loves me
On the roof with all my friends

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long

ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

Mr. DJ set me free [2x]
Mr. DJ set me free, oh yeah
Mr. DJâE¦ set me free

Sometimes I sit and dream
About the summer days and long lost nights
I hope you think about me
I hope someday I see your face again

ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wonâE™t break it for me (break if for me [3x])
See you again

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

Do you remember that song?
We used to dance to the radio all night long
ItâE™s on Mr. DJ wont you break it for me
Mr. DJ wonâE™t you rock that song

Do you remember that song?

Straight outta Brooklyn comes the funky new wave sounds of The Cooler Kids. Comprised of Kaz Gamble, aka DJ Kazimir and California girl Sisely Treasure, The Cooler Kids originated when Gamble was messing around at the Pop Rox studio with ex-Luscious Jackson singer Jill Cunniff. The two were laying down disco-inflected tracks with some friends just for fun and before they knew it, Treasure befriended Gamble via AOL and a friendship was born. A musical bond formed shortly thereafter while Cunniff stuck around to be the 'groove godmother.' The Cooler Kids' fresh, kitschy sound made its debut in 2003 when DreamWorks issued Punk Debutante.
