"Named after the alias of the comic-book character Iron Man, New York City's Tonystark is an emocore quintet, consisting of singer John, guitarists Rob and Pete, bassist Ray, and drummer Wayne. The band originally began as a side project for several members of the hardcore punk outfit Awkward Thought, before it became a full-time proposition. A demo caught the ear of Resurrection A.D. Records owner A.J. Falvo, who signed the band -- resulting in the 1998 EP High Tech Low Life."
