This melodic indie/power-pop band from Rocky Point, New York claims its influences were "draught beer, nursery rhymes, progressive politics, foreign films, space travel", but at listening you'll find they seem to also have absorbed a lot of Luna, Big Star (minus the harmonies), The Go-Betweens, Guided By Voices, The Clean, etc.

Witty lyrics, catchy tunes, great guitar riffs, and plenty of attitude, The Imperial Pints were a true under-appreciated gem of the indie/power-pop revival scene.
