Ben Edmonds, drummer of Hedgeway, seems hell-bent on covering all his bases. Following in the footsteps of Dave Grohl from The Foo Fighters and Aaron Gillespie of Underoath and The Almost, Edmonds mirrors of these two drummers as they all venture into solo works.

Edmonds' first release, 'A Fond Farewell', a one-track featuring the song 'Faded'. The track, recorded on a one-piece digital mixing device Edmonds received for the holidays, shows both his vocal skill and his comprehension of musicality in general.

His most recent 4-track Album, 'Certain Darkness', bears the same title of the writing piece it was composed from. Each of the tracks, inspired by either a character or an idea from the book itself, contains a myriad of musical themes. Most inspiring about this release, however, are the subtle influences detailed in each track that come from Edmonds' various playing experiences; whether the Cuban beat outlining the start of Tik and the Pirates or the trumpet fanfare in the theme song, Edmonds truly showcases his wide variety of skills.
