Kansas City rapper from local R&B and rap label and promotions company Van Brunt Entertainment, which he is co-frontman of, along with D-Locc da Chop. D-Locc's little brother, Slopp da Gambla, also features. The group grew up around Van Brunt Boulevard and 20th Street on Kansas City's east side.

Cash Image is the most legitimate breakout artist from the crew after his 2007 single "In My Chevy" (a collaboration with local music midas and long time Tech N9ne producer Don Juan) got steady play on the local KC MO radio station KPRS Hot 103 Jamz alongside mainstream hip hop acts.

On Friday September 7th 2007 at the Emerald House in Kansas City, Cash Image won a city wide talent contest for Hip Hop magazine 'The Source', who wanted to fly one KC artist to progress to their unsigned hype contest in New York. The opportunity was passed on subsequently when flights did not materialise.

Cash released the R&B influenced albums Da Game Coach (2007) and Still On Deck (2008) to local acclaim thanks to the high quality of production, catchy hooks and crossover appeal. He also appeared with D-Locc and Slopp on a series of Van Brunt mixtapes under the moniker "Bass Rocc Boyz".

In 2009 Cash Image and D-Locc earned their biggest ever exposure by appearing on the new album from internationally renowned Kansas City veteran Tech N9ne, collaborating on the track Let Me In Ft. Cash Image And D Loc The Chop, which attacks alleged racial profiling of KC MO's Power & Light entertainment district.

The album debuted at #19 on the Billboard 200 charts and gave Cash Image and his Van Brunt partner a significant new nationwide and international audience. Before the end of 2009 Cash and D-Locc would collaborate to release another popularly received local mixtape, Red Rags & Blue Flags. Read more on Last.fm.
