Year Long is actually a name from the Guitar Hero and Rock Band bands that it's creator, Dell Watt, used when he played the games. The name stuck for him, and when he started to record music, he decided it was good enough for a real name.

Year Long currently only has a single out, but a EP is in the works currently. The date has not been revealed as of yet.

Their new EP was released on September the 23rd, of 2009.
