Kelli Love is a Singer and Songwriter.
Born in San Francisco, California, she began composing songs at 14. Kelli's musical roots began in gospel music where she sang as a youth. At 16 she joined her first live band, singing alongside some of the Bay Area's top-ranking musicians in About Face. At 18, she moved to Los Angeles to attend college and continue to fine-tune her musical talent. She played, toured and sang in a live band during her time at college, where she was discovered by American Idol's Randy Jackson at the persuasion of UCLA track and field teammates.
Playing music became a central theme in her life, allowing her to travel across the United States and abroad. She got her feet wet in the underground scenes writing hooks for California hip-hop artists and featuring as a writer and singer for many up and coming artists across genre. She was introduced first to commercial music with an appearance on FOX's American Idol in 2003, and MTV's Making the Band in 2005.
Kelli Love debuted in the independent world music scene on KCRW radio with the freestyle turned pop-tune "Find Jah Way". Her music has been featured in television, film, and radio across the globe. Kelli Love was featured on the "SPIDERS remix" with French band JOAKIM. Kelli Love was featured in CSI Miami, children's film, and Randy Jackson’s Music Club Vol 1 with her song "Who’s Gonna Love You Now?"
Kelli Love has also featured on a long list of projects with talented UK Music House Roxstone Music, Jamaica's Rootz Underground, JOAKIM, YetiBeats, JR Rotem, Warryn Campbell and other artists such as Sizzla, Anthony B., Tippa Irie, Lilla D'mone, FatLip, Rob Persaud and Mirella Castellano, to name a few. She has also had the pleasure of working on musical projects with State of Emergency producer Donnie Scantz, Keri Hilson, Brian Cox, Damon Elliott, James Fauntleroy, and many others.
