Eg and Alice were an English duo. They consisted of Eg White, a founder member of Brother Beyond, and Alice Temple, a former model and BMX champion, who got together in 1990 in London, UK.

Eg and Alice released one album, 24 Years Of Hunger, in 1991. It was described by All Music Guide as "one of the finest, most refined and fully realized recordings of the era, employing a much more sophisticated and romantic style than anything else out of England at the time". Two singles were released from the album, "Indian" and "Doesn't Mean That Much To Me".

Despite critical acclaim and being featuring in many major music publications' top 50 albums of 1991, the album was not a commercial success and both it and the two singles failed to reach the UK Top 75. Although they never announced a split, there has been no subsequent albums since 1991.

White and Temple continue to work in music. Alice Temple worked with James Lavelle on both UNKLE albums, and released a solo album, produced by Eg, Hang Over, in 1999.

Eg White is a well known songwriter and producer. He released a solo album, Turn Me On, Im a Rocket Man, in 1996. He received an Ivor Novello award for Will Young's Leave Right Now and has worked on recent albums by Kylie Minogue, Joss Stone, Jamelia, Take That and James Morrison, among many others.
