Michael is a native of Detroit, and if you're wondering...yes he is brother to Suzi Quatro.

He toured nationally and in his home town (Grosse Pointe) and impressed audiences with his command of 3-4 keyboards at once, before MIDI was invented. His "at the moment" recordings are a true testiment to his keyboarding skills.

He has recorded for labels like Quality and SRI, notably Motown's "Prodigal" label and United Artists. One of his critically acclaimed LP's is "In Collaboration With The Gods."

Michael likes to use unusual found-talent, like the former Pavlogs Dog vocalist David Surkamp. You'll also find talent like Rick Derringer, Ted Nugent, and the Quatro sisters performed on his early Mike Quatro...Jam Band discs.
