Calamity Pop was a studio band that Paul Russell put together to release the best tracks that I had written in the 80's and 90's. Based in Singapore, the vocal duties were handled by Zuq, while most of the rest of the instruments I played myself, with the occasional guest.

Pop Friction was released in 2004, and the follow-up, Pop Addiction was released as a double (with Club Friction as a free bonus CD) in 2006.

The band is no longer recording.
