Ex-Driver aka Vladimir Bashmakov is one of the hottest Russian DJ’s and Producers at the moment. He was born on December 6th 1987 at Moscow, Russia. Vladimir started to pay big attention to the music since the early childhood and father bought Vlad his first keyboard when he was only 5 years old and Vlad started to get piano-lessons. In year 1999 he started to pay big attention to the electronic music. Vlad began his professional career in late 2005 making his debute In early 2006. His debut as a DJ at February 2006 was followed by regularly gigs.

Ex-Driver performed all over Russia and CIS with gigs in Moscow, St. Petersberg, Kiev, Sergiev-Posad, Zhukovsky, Kirov, Vitebsk, Ryzan’, Ufa, D'zerjinsk and many more, playing alongside with the likes of Daniel Kandi, Nitrous Oxide, Tom Colontonio, Ronski Speed, Bobina, Dennis Sheperd, Mat Zo, Alex Kidd, ADAM Lab 4 and more!

Vlad runs his radioshow Supersonic on AH.FM that broadcasts every 1st wednesday of the month and his show Land Of Dreams that broadcasts on Party107.com (every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month) and Discover Trance Radio (every 2nd and 4th Wednessday of the month)

Vlad had his first track released on 14 April 2008. It was Solar Paradise vs. Ex -Driver – Kaleidoscope that was out on Infexious Recording. Original mix received big support from such DJ’s as Tom Colontonio, Fabio Stein, Talla 2XLC, Manuel Le Saux, Pedro Del Mar and many more. Kaleisdoscope was followed by Ex-Driver remixes on Alive Stone – Light Trip for Abora Recordings and Barry Jay – Aquarius again for Infexious. Both remixes receive huge support by famous DJ’s such as Manuel Le Saux, Tom Colontonio, Suzy Solar, Bobina, Fabio Stein Jose Amnesia and many more!

On 4 th of June 2008 Aquarius was played by legendary Ferry Corsten at Corstens Countdown 049. The second appearance in Corstens Countdown was only two weeks later. Two weeks in a row Ferry Corsten was playing new single – Ex-Driver vs. Ben Parker – Turbulence in Original Mix in Corstens Countdown 051 and 052 where Turbulence took 5 place in top 10 of June in Corstens Countdown. On 15 of August Turbulence was played by Tiesto in Club Life 072.

In September 2008 Ex-Driver got back in Corstens Countdown getting support two weeks in a row with Ex-Driver - California (Den Rize remix) [Infexious] @ Countdown 063 and Oen Bearen - Ajoyable (Ex-Driver remix) [Stampgevaar] @ Countdown 064!

After such a success he got a lot of remix requests through 2008 and 2009 from such artists as Marcos, Avenger, Will Atkinson, Michael Mystica, Abstract Vision, Adam Foley, Steve Bengal, John Vanger and by labels such as Shah Music Digital, Drizzly Records, Red Force Recordings, Colorful Recordings, Redux Recordings, Only One Records and more. Through 2009 Vlad played in Moscow, Kiev, St. Petersburg, Krasnogorsk, Tula and other towns alongside with the likes of Nitrous Oxide , Ronski Speed , Daniel Kandi, Mat Zo, Dennis Sheperd.

At the moment he have more than 20 tunes released and a lot of tunes that will be released soon.
