The V.U. (shortened for "The View") is an AOR/hard rock band from San Francisco, California, USA, that was formed in 1984. The founder, Ross Valory, is known as the bass player for Journey. Along with Valory, Kevin Chalfant (The Storm, 707) was the lead vocalist.
The band was mostly a side project for Ross Valory until Journey produced another record. After the new Journey album was released, Ross Valory put the VU on hold.
