After a spell as guitarist with the original Cockney Rebel, harleyfanzone.com , Pete Newnham formed and fronted a band called Window, featuring his own material. The band recieved critical acclaim and were about to sign a recording deal when greed took over and the band split, taking the name, and intending to write their own songs, with disasterous results for the band. Pete Newnham then formed T.H.E. with Mike Marchant (ex Third Ear Band) on bass and vocals, and Paul Hammond (ex Atomic Rooster) on drums. A single was released, 'Rudi', about Rudolf Valentino, c/w 'Outside my window', which recieved good reviews, but no distribution. The single has now become one of the top five rarest punk singles and has recently been re released on the compilation cd and vinyl 'Bored Teenagers #5' on Detour records, www.detour-records.co.uk
