Golden Salt is a metal, rock, classical, and electronic crossover duo based on the violin of Arianna Mazzarese and the electric guitar of Eleonora Loi. Arianna and Eleonora are also the founders and owners of their independent label, Imperatrix, managing Golden Salt and its team of collaborators.
Golden Salt's audience has grown rapidly during the pandemic, now boasting over 500,000 followers across official social networks and more than 20 million views on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. Most listeners discovered Golden Salt through their viral instrumental music videos on YouTube. Their first album, "Iron Feathers" (2021), features a mix of covers and three original tracks, available worldwide from their official store in Rome. Golden Salt's second album, "Barock" (2022), consists entirely of original music.
Arianna Mazzarese (Florence, 1990) is a violinist, author, and composer. She began playing the violin at six and studied at the L. Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, where she obtained a ten-year diploma in violin in 2013. She also graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Florence in 2018. Arianna is a sound engineer and electronic music producer, responsible for producing Golden Salt's content. She is also an entrepreneur, videomaker, and colorist, having produced, edited, and colored many of Golden Salt's videos. In her personal life, she practices sports and is a martial arts instructor with a II dan black belt in Karate.
Eleonora Loi (Oristano, 1988) is a guitarist, DJ, and producer. She began her musical journey with singing and piano lessons at seven and started studying electric guitar at twelve. Eleonora moved to Florence to study Physics and Astrophysics, where she met Arianna, leading to the formation of Golden Salt. She holds a degree in Physics and Astrophysics and has specialized as a producer through advanced music production courses. Eleonora mixed and mastered almost all of Golden Salt's songs and albums.
