Monka is a Jazz / Experimental duo formed in Riga, Latvia in 2011. Consisting of two opposing sides in music creation, it forms a mellow blend of straight-forward, open minded academic and a self-taught, improvisational and experimental approach.

Monta Tupčijenko - piano, keyboards, vocals;
Kārlis Butins - guitar, vocals (currently also Parára, Honey Blonde).
