Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) are a three-piece unit from Atlanta, Georgia. With their bonus member, a cardboard Sid Vicious slamming on a preprogrammed Yamaha PSR, their songs are relentlessly fast and intense with very few places to hide your bitchass along the way. They have released four 7" records which have been noted for their intricate packaging and colorful artwork, plus slick extras such as a DVD of a live performance at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta.


SiDS (stylized with a lower-case "i") made their debut in 2006 at "Relay for Death", a show at the College of Wooster that encouraged smoking, drinking, and other cancer causing activities. With their simple and crass tunes, SiDS has collected a following of the oddballs, freaks, and discontent. RJD2 referred to them as "very entertaining". Perhaps SiDS can best be categorized as garage rock/fagatron/punk/thrash/horseshit with influences of prog-rock/indie/gospel/DIY/herpes. Their focus is on a high energy show experience that bridges the gap between the stage and the audience. At a SiDS show, expect to see them in the pit, shooting silly string, sexual deviancy and maybe some music in between all that.
