Pluto Revolts was conceived in December 2007, a month that also marked a period of significant reawakening for Cincinnati, Ohio vocalist/songwriter Benjamin James. He spent the better part of a decade writing music from punk rock to pop rock for both indie and major labels alike, and had been seen performing everywhere from coffee shops to Japan's finest rock clubs with his former band Bottom Line, but it was only then that he realized shifting his songs into an entirely new project was the only way for all of those years of effort to finally pay off.

Even down to the name itself signifying rebirth, with Pluto Revolts, James sheds his proverbial old skin to reveal a rawer, more unique version of himself. The result is a self-produced debut EP called Suffer No Delusions, comprised of five songs showcasing a variety of influences. James fuses his undying love for alternative rock with modern, electronic production elements and an undeniable pop sensibility. Everything from Numb to Control Freak showcases previously untapped honesty and vulnerability from the songwriter, making this easily the most cathartic and personally defining music of his career.
