1) Steven K. Smith is a new media artist from the Cleveland area who primarily works with video, installation and sound. He also does all the art direction for Skean Dhu. When he is not busy with his art distractions, Smith is involved in several musical projects most notably Mabou and Dolmen. While his primary roles in both bands were percussion and synthesizer work, his solo projects are primarily guitar based. His solo work is lush, dense, and powerful. There is an emotional intensity found throughout his work that works in conjunction to his cerebral thematics.

2) Steven K. Smith from Newark, Ohio is a player of the Mountain Dulcimer who has been learning, composing, performing and teaching since 1983. In addition to the traditional repertoire he plays music from the European classical tradition, Celtic and British Isles tunes, jazz, blues, and the occasional pop tune.
