Milo Lombardi is an Italian saxophone player and composer based in Berlin.
His music has been described as genuine, joyful and serene, with references to Stan Getz, Bill Evans, Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau.
His latest album "Going Nowhere (Enjoying the Ride)" gained a lot of attention for its fresh, melodic and non-mainstream sound.
It was produced thanks to a successful crowd-funding campaign and is currently being presented on tour with Lombardi's quartet, featuring Roberto Badoglio on bass, Andrea Marcelli on drums and Lito Tabora on Piano.

Lombardi started to play classical piano at an early age and when he was 11 he entered the "G. Rossini" conservatory of music in Pesaro, Italy, where he then studied saxophone.
At the age of 19 he began touring throughout Europe and overseas performing in major Jazz clubs, theaters and concert halls.
In 2012 he returned to Italy to further study composition and Jazz arranging with Massimo Morganti and in 2014 he moved to Berlin where he currently resides.
Lombardi is active in the international music scene performing with his group in addition to collaborating with many other artists.

One of his compositions (Circular Quay) earned an honorable mention in the 2014 edition of the "International Songwriting Competition".
