Same Ol' Same Ol' Lyrics

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oww hmm hmm
First time you said that you were leaving
I cried 'cuz you said you didn't need me
But the second that I started seeing somebody else
It's when ya had to come back to me
(Gone)
Continued movin' now I'm better, I moved on
To someone who would treat me better
But now you're tripping 'cuz you see I ain't all by myself
And you won't let be me boy
Why you gonna call me on my phone?
Every time you see another boy at my door
Oh boy you should've thought of that before
And now you wanna come home
And you're alone
It's the same ol', same ol' sad scenario
Every time you say you wanna be so low
Oh boy you should've never let me go
But you've done it before
And now I know it's the same ol', same ol'
Ooh, you thought that you could keep on dreaming
This too you think that I won't keep on moving
I admit it for a minute you was having your way
What can I say?
I wasn't over you
(Oh no)
Things change you and me
Best forget it
(No, no, babe)
No more playing I admit it
Don't you get it, boy?
You take it back tryin' to say like it was yesterday?
But boy, but you never really ever cared about me
'Cause if you ever really cared about me
Then it wouldn't take another man
To make you understand
That you want me
(Oh)
'Cause if you really ever cared about me
You wouldn't ever broken my heart, left me
And now you wanna come back and call me up
Why you gonna call me on my phone?
Every time you see another boy at my door
Oh boy, you should've thought of that before
And now you wanna come home and you're alone
It's the same ol', same ol' sad scenario
Every time you say you wanna be so low
Oh boy, you should've never let me go
But you've done it before
And now I know it's the same ol', same ol'
I told you, I told you
I'd leave, you know I told you
I told you I would leave you
Next time and it's the last time boy
Boy, boy, boy you were told lets get it on
It's the same ol', same ol', same ol', same ol'
Boy, boy, boy you were told lets get it on
It's the same ol', same ol', same ol', same ol'
Why you gonna call me on my phone?
Every time you see another boy at my door
Oh boy you should've thought of that before
And now you wanna come home
And you're alone
It's the same ol' same, ol' sad scenario
Every time you say you wanna be so low
Oh boy you should've never let me go
But you've done it before
And now I know it's the same ol', same ol'
Why you gonna call me on my phone?
Every time you see another boy at my door
Oh boy you should've thought of that before
And now you wanna come home
And you're alone
It's the same ol' same, ol' sad scenario
Every time you say you wanna be so low
Oh boy you should've never let me go
But you've done it before
And now I know it's the same ol', same ol'
Why you gonna call me on my phone?
Every time you see another boy at my door
Oh boy, you should've thought of that before
And now you wanna come home
And you're alone
It's the same ol' same, ol' sad scenario
Every time you say you wanna be so low
Oh boy, you should've never let me go
But you've done it before
And now I know it's the same ol', same ol'

PYT

There are multiple bands which go by the name PYT.

1.) PYT was a Florida-based girl group in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Unlike many pop groups, PYT.'s formation was not the result of scouting by a talent agency or a series of auditions - instead, these Tampa teenagers - Lauren Mayhew , Ashley Niven, Lydia Bell, Tracy Williams - had all been childhood friends. They had previously performed together in the Tampa Entertainment Revue (through Busch Gardens) and were signed to Epic Records in 1998. The members of PYT derived their group's name from a Michael Jackson song entitled "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)," though on some occasions the girls used the acronym "PYT." to stand for the slogan "Prove Yourself True," based on their song, "Prove Yourself". Among the members of the group, Tracy Williams was the alto and sung lower harmonies, Lauren Mayhew and Ashley Niven were mezzo-sopranos and sung the melody line, and Lydia Bell was the soprano who sung higher harmonies. Ashley Niven was the lead vocalist on the tracks on the album PYT (Down With Me). The group is best known for their singles: "Something More Beautiful", "Same Ol Same Ol" and "PYT (Down With Me)". They were also featured on the soundtracks to the films 'Bring It On' and 'Center Stage', and appeared in label-mate Mandy Moore's music video for "Candy".

The group's debut album, "PYT (Down With Me)", was released in August of 2001, and the band disbanded shortly after. Bell & Mayhew attempted to form a new band, Turning Pointe, that ended fairly quickly. Williams had a bit more success, forming her own r&b based trio, UC3 (You See Three).

2.) PYT is a Swedish band.

3. PyT is Pierre-Yves Theurillat, Swiss lead singer of Galaad and L'Escouade. His first album, Carnet d'un visage de pluie, was released in 2012. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
