DazzlingBAD is a Japanese visual kei band formed on November 1, 2020. The band consists of vocalist iT, guitarists Yuta and MASA, bassist Ayaha, and support drummer Loa. Their music blends various subgenres of visual kei, including kote kei and loud kei, incorporating elements of gothic metal along with dark and often provocative lyrics. The band is recognized for their intense live performances and striking visual aesthetics.

DazzlingBAD originated from a session cover band called HATEman, which performed in Tokyo in 2018, focusing on covers of other visual kei bands. After HATEman disbanded in October 2020, members iT, Sai, Yuta, Ayaha, and support drummer Loa formed DazzlingBAD. Their debut performance was on November 26, 2020, where they played as the opening act at the event "40MiN NIGHT CORE 3MAN." The band began promoting themselves through various visual kei outlets, appearing in the free magazine EvoL'v and being interviewed by Cure magazine.

On February 23, 2021, DazzlingBAD officially launched their formal activities with their own event, unveiling their new visual look and releasing their first single CAMERA OBSCURA. In July 2021, original guitarist Sai left the band, and MASA, formerly of DOROTHY DOLL, joined as a full-time member in September 2021.

DazzlingBAD's first mini-album, The Beginning of the END, was released on October 5, 2021. The band continued to develop their dark lyrical themes and sound with the release of their single Fear in December 2022. Vocalist iT described the song as a deep exploration of the perspectives of both human beings and those perceived as inhuman.

In May 2023, DazzlingBAD formed an alter-ego band called DAZZLINGBAD (ダズリングバッド), which paid tribute to 90s kote kei, a subgenre of visual kei. This project highlighted the band's deep connection to the roots of visual kei while continuing to evolve their unique sound.

In January 2024, DazzlingBAD released the single Antagonism, and later in May, they embarked on a one-man tour titled "Towards of Death," which concluded in June. Shortly afterward, in June 2024, the band launched a side project called DazzlingBAD Jubaku Hyourei project (DazzlingBAD~呪縛憑霊project~) for a limited time, showcasing their continued experimentation with different musical styles and concepts.
