"Chono" is a mongolian rock group, which was formed in 1999. The name is the mongolian word for "wolf". The band consists of D. Munkhbat (lead vocalist and lead guitar), D. Batbayar (guitar and vocals), T. Enkhbaatar (bass guitar) and G. Batbayar. In 2001 the band brought out it´s first album "Bi Huseegui" (trans.: I didn´t want to) and in 2004 you could buy their 2nd Album "Hailj Ursaj baina" (Melted things flow). Their third album "Jargaliin Gants Alim" (Only one apple of happiness) came out in 2005 and is compared to the other two albums rather soft rock.

In 2009, band recorded fourth album, named "Chamd Taalagdahiin Tuld". This is soft rock, but some songs returns to aggressive nu-metal style like "Haiji Ursaj Baina" or "Har Tsaagan".
