There are at least seven artists called Crane:

1. A Canadian melodic punk/hardcore band who formed in 1999 and released their debut full-length, The Fall of Time, on Freedumb Records in 2004. The album also gained a UK release in 2006 courtesy of Hangmans Joke.


2. A band from Ashington, England who plied a brand of shoe-gazerish/fugazi-like indie rock in the early 1990s. Their Big Sea 12" can be downloaded from the wonderful X-Ray Barbecue archive:

3. A solo artist who largely remixed original Nintendo theme music into Drum'n'Bass tracks, perhaps best known for a remix of the theme from Zelda.


4. An RnB/Rap artist and middle school teacher from College Park, Georgia who released his debut album, Master Storyteller on JudgeMental Entertainment in 2002.


5. An artist (possibly Japanese) who released an album entitled Yunbo in 1995.

6. A Christchurch group featured on the New Zealand compilation 'Biding Our Time' with their track 'Chorale' around 1986.

7. Crane are an alternate/progressive band from The Lake District in the UK, they emerged from various rock & progressive bands, to produce an eclectic sound of there own.
