O grupo Inquérito tem início em 1999, no interior de São Paulo, mais precisamente na região de Campinas. Fundado por Renan Inquérito, e, mais tarde somado por Dj. Rodrigo, Nicole e Pop Black, cada um deles com histórias diferentes e que se cruzam, no rap, pelo rap.
