Bombflower are a ska-punk band hailing from Waukegan, Illinois. Formed around 2015, the group quickly established themselves in the Midwest punk scene with a blend of driving punk energy, ska-infused rhythms, and sharp, socially conscious lyrics.

Their debut full-length Sweeteater (2016) introduced their raw and energetic sound, while the follow-up Bleed Me Out (2017) pushed their message further, tackling themes such as environmental destruction, inequality, fear, and resistance. Bombflower’s music often mixes melodic hooks with aggressive bursts, creating a style that is both urgent and anthemic.

Over the years, Bombflower have contributed tracks to various compilations, including the What Do You Know About Ska Punk? series, helping to cement their reputation as a politically charged band with a strong DIY ethos.

The lineup features Lia on vocals, Tic James on guitar and vocals, Jeffdro on bass, and Tim on drums.
