Wake the Giant was formed by three friends in 2009 as a way to pursue their passion for music, and for various faith based philanthropic causes. They recorded a demo in the beginning of 2009, then spent the rest of the year playing shows all over the Northwest. Churches, bars, all-ages venues, Wake The Giant has had the opportunity to play in front of many diverse crowds.

In February of 2010, the band headed to Portland to record at Signal Vs. Noise Studios with producers Stephen and Andrew Brittel of Brightwood. "The Escape Artist EP" is the fruition of those efforts, and a small taste of what's to come. Released online for free download in the spring of 2010, the debut EP is an expression of love, disillusionment, hopes, and dreams.
