Freshtone comprises soley of Jamie Kielland, 26, originally from London, England but moved to Oslo, Norway.

Picked up and learned how to construct songs using his computer to put together samples, piano hooks and also the use of his drum machine. He began in 2011 out of boredom and inspiration from other band's work. His main influences are Deadmau5 and J Dilla for his house and hip-hop orientated music, respectively..
