Saxophone player and composer, Igor Lumpert lives between Slovenia and New York, his adopted home. After completing his studies at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz, Igor was invited to study at the New School University in New York City. Here, Igor trained with some of the world's finest musicians, such as Chico Hamilton and Reggie Workman, and performed in various jazz clubs, taking on the challenge of playing his own progressive compositions.
