Corpus Offal is a death metal band hailing from Austin, Texas, formed in 2024 out of the ashes of the cult-underground act Cerebral Rot. The group was started when Cerebral Rot ended unexpectedly, with guitarist/vocalist Ian Schwab and guitarist Clyle Lindstrom (both of whom had previously played in Cerebral Rot, Fetid, and Caustic Wound) regrouping with new rhythm section members: bassist Jason Sachs (formerly of Demoncy) and drummer Jesse Shreibman (known for his work with Bell Witch and Autophagy).

Their musical style is rooted in brutal old-school death metal with touches of gore, grindcore, and sludge influences — a putrid yet dynamic sound that blends heavy grooves, slow-burning low riffs, chaotic vocals, and visceral thematic horror. Their sound has drawn comparisons to early death metal and goregrind legends like Disgorge, Cenotaph, Goatlord, Undergang, and Cianide, while still forging a distinctly grotesque identity of their own.
