toon is a singer/songwriter from the Netherlands who now lives in Nevada City, California. With a background in classical music, jazz and Indian raga, his style is eclectic. His main contemporary influences are Björk, Radiohead and Sufjan Stevens. Since 2009 he has offered his albums as free downloads online (alternativeyogamusic.com) while asking for voluntary donations from fans, following the example of Radiohead's famous release of 'In Rainbows'.
