1) Alun Richards is one of South Africa’s most awarded film composers, garnering an impressive array of accolades from highly respectable international awards ceremonies, including multiple Cannes Lions Grand Prix, The Loerie Awards, LIAA, Clio, DnAD, SAFTA, Hollywood Music Workshop etc. Richards established Cut & Paste Generation in 1995, which quickly grew to be one of South Africa’s most respected, awarded and highly sought after music composition and audio post production facilities.
2) Alun Morgun Richards was a Welsh novelist, best known for his novel Ennal's Point, about the work of a lifeboat crew in South Wales. Richards was born in King Edward Avenue, Caerphilly.
