Besra (formed in 2014) is a Finnish post-metal band born from the vision of ex-Callisto guitarist Johannes Nygård. This five piece group combines heavy metal with atmospheric soundscapes and progressive rhythms. The members of Besra are previously known from groups such as Callisto, Cassie, Yleislakko[/artist,]Rites of the Youth and While I'm Alive. The heavy and atmospheric music of Besra has often been compared to bands like Cult of Luna, Breach, Burst and Pelican. Read more on Last.fm.
