Near Light are an instrumental post-rock group from Bournemouth on the south coast of the United Kingdom. With a multitude of influences behind them, their music has been described as “very atmospheric” and “almost orchestral” – “they have managed to create a terrific soundtrack that takes you away to somewhere else.” With a proven determination to create this music with feeling and ‘colour’, the 4-piece released their debut EP online in September 2012 to a small, but strong reception around the world - and took it from there. Now with over 15,000 plays on their Bandcamp page alone, Near Light continue to progress higher and higher.
