backandtotheleft is a futurepop/synthpop band from Seattle, WA (US). The current lineup consists of Brandon Jerwa (vocals), Megan "Fritter" Mace (drums), and Robert Wilhelm (keyboards), although all three members contribute equally to songwriting in the studio setting. The band name is often referred to by the acronym BATTL.
