There are at least 3 bands going by the name 'Deadlands':

1 - Deadlands is a 4 piece band hailing from the urban landscape of Chicago. Guitarist' Travis Salisbury (Ahimsa Observatory, luxaeterna) and Zac Gray (Ahimsa Observatory, Hypatia Lake) construct interweaving guitar lines while bassist Carri Andrews (The Chemicals) and drummer Tim Tobbin(The Fairfields) fill out the rhythm section into a driving force headed into the cool nights of the desert.

2010 will see Deadlands playing as many shows as possible and will begin recording material for a future release.

2 - Deadlands is also a 4-piece out of Rhode Island, who play music described as 'Alternative Blues', comprised of Steve Cevoli on guitar, Aaron J. Ferri on bass and vocals, Ray Memory on guitar and lead vocals, and Tyler J. Montgomery on drums, percussion and blues harp. Deadlands has been active as a live, touring band since January 2010.

3 - Deadlands is an up-and-coming Metalcore band based in Long Island, New York.
The band's write style takes influence from bands such as Asking Alexandria, Motionless In White, Escape The Fate, Falling in Reverse, Wage War and Bring Me The Horizon
