The Blood Capsules are an American indie rock band centered around guitarist and vocalist, Zach McCowin. The Band was formed in late 2016 in Bellingham, Washington in order to play some of McCowin's songs live, and eventually became a more permanent line-up for writing, playing, and recording music.

The Band released their first single, French Wine Saturday Night on January 23rd, 2019.

Their first full length album, Call Home, will be released in early 2019.

The Band lists The Mountain Goats, Spoon, Amateur Love, and The Wrens as musical influences.

The current line-up consists of Zach McCowin (guitar, lead vocals), Gary Colson (guitar, backing vocals), Richard Rossi (acoustic guitar, rhythm, backing vocals), Zach Songster (bass), Preston Manuel (drums), and Carter Stoddard (keyboards).
