ZE GRAN ZEFT is a three piece Alternative Crunk Rock band from the Marseille/Nice area – South France founded in 2009. Music wise the band mixes Rock/Hip Hop & Electro music. Producer and partner in crime is Charles "Kallaghan" Massabo (Falling In Reverse, Cry Venom, Davey Suicide) at the Kallaghan Studios!

Musical influences: Nirvana, The Beastie Boys, Meshuggah, Daft Punk, Prince, Thunderdome, Rage Against The Machine, Cypress Hill, Busta Rhymes, Shabba Ranks, Periphery, Serge Gainsbourg, Zapp.

Presently the band lives in Los Angeles and France. The band just finished the recording for their new album.

Years ago, the alternative music scene was a key genre in the music industry, with a very “colorful” music scene. The main goal was, that these bands were danceable and did hard music (RATM, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, BEASTIE BOYS, etc.). In the last couple of years most of the alternative music was not really groovy and the songs couldn´t be used for the club scene, which is an important promotion tool. As music mags don’t sell really well in these days, the club scene is more important than ever. ZE GRAN ZEFT is jumping in these footsteps.
