Purdy Rocks is the stage name for Chilean artist Caterina Purdy Mohn's electro | electrotrash project. She's often recognized for her excentric fashion style creating household objects using animal corpses. She has put the project on hold and is currently known as Cholita Sound.

She was born in Santiago, Chile (1972). During her childhood and teenage years she lived at Philippines, Brazil and Spain, getting back to Chile in 1987. She studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile's School of Art, where she got her degree on Arts with Mention in Painting back in 1995. Currently she lives in Santiago and teaches "Image Manipulation" at the Universidad Católica. Read more on Last.fm.
