Michael Fitzroy (Fitzroy Williams) born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Fitzroy got involve with music from 1987. During this period he recorded his first release on the crystal sound label with the song call She's My lady. In 89 he met producer Olive Shaw while recording at King Jammy's studio she heard some of his recording and decided to do some recording with him. Fitzroy and Olive worked together and recorded a number of songs , one of which was a hit on the RJR top 40's chart "Standing in the Dance" on the Capricorn International Record Label. In 1991 Olive organized a tour to England, returning to Jamaica Fitzroy worked at various studios recording more song. fitzroy return to england in 2001, there he was introduced to musician/ producer Clyde Taylor. They teamed up and completed his debut album titled " Give me a Chance". Michael Fitzroy has just completed a 9 track album titled "A Lovers Rock Collection' on his 1 Up Production Label.
