TRU-BURN is a unique band. Consisting of guitar, drums, dual bass players and a larger than life front man smashing an enormous gong might make people scratch their heads a bit. However when TRU-BURN hits the stage the energy in the air is undeniable. Combine this with the fact that the members of this band have collectively over 100 years of musical experience sharing the stage with bands such as Clutch, Fu Manchu, Nazareth, Jackyl, Monster Magnet, High on Fire, Deftones, Melvins, Prong, Mushroomhead and even Kid Rock among many, many others and you start to understand what sets them apart from their peers.

With such a diverse background it can be difficult to sum up TRU-BURN in a single genre however it is the willingness to take risks with their music and not follow the diluted image of the status quo of the current rock landscape that creates the unbridled enthusiasm in their fans. Fusing elements of Stoner Rock, Doom, Psychedelic Rock and Metal to create something that sounds refreshing yet classic at the same time. Flowing melodies that give way to crushing riffs and back again, often in the same song gives the listener the sense that they are listening to the telling of a story rather than just hearing a song. Suffice it to say that with the background this band shares and the who's who of acts that they have supported that TRU-BURN is something that must be experienced to be fully understood.
