As a DJ, Kid Suda comes from the hip-hop methodology and has an instinctive musical ear & understanding of the crowds…

From heavyweight Funk to neck breaking party Hip-hop sessions. From Afro beat/Reggae to Bass Shaking Dubstep/Drum n Bass - This kid never fails to rock the party.

As a producer he is musical and melodic, being sensitive to the personal listening experience as well as the club enviroment. Regular changes in production methods and a child like playfulness in experimentation has grown an eclectic style that still carries a definitive 'sound'

His earliest childhood inspirations in music began with The Beatles, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, The Beasties Boys and Run DMC.

Spending much of his time London as a teen he was influenced by the pirate radio stations and early Drum and bass pioneers such as Metalheadz, Full Cycle, Ganja Crew.

He became inspired by releases from Warp, Mowax and Ninja tune and in 1998 began his DJ career starting at house parties and promoting his own events in Sheffield where he was living at the time.

After moving full time to London in 1999 he formed the DJ collective Decknology with DJ partner Karmil. (Later to involve Beatbox Burn, PhD, Midas & DJ Instrumental)

2003 saw Kid Suda become the first British DJ to star in a West End Musical. The critically aclaimed
‘Bomb-itty of Errors’ a Hip-hop rendition of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors.

The same year he would provide the DJ session for the launch of Banksy's 'Santa's Ghetto' Exhibition on Carnaby St.

In 2004 he was recruited by Neneh Cherry for her European DJ show and spent the best part of the year touring, a journey which led as far as Bamako (Mali) where he performed on stage alongside Neneh and Manu Chao for the ‘Paris-Bamako’ Festival.

A two-year period was spent in Stockholm further developing production styles and song writing for other artists.

Now almost 6 Years of secretive studio work and literally hundreds of tracks are starting to appear as he distills a body of work into a forthcoming entity...
