Dogsta The Problem, is a family man, hip hop artist, and entertainer and from the Southside of Houston, Tx. Being a fan of hip hop at an early age, he knew that one day he'll be a part of it later on his lifetime. Though dating back to Call Me D Nice being an early song he recalls being a favorite or Kris Kross being an influence, he credits Snoop Dogg for being the reason he wanted to rap. Even his stage name was influenced by Snoop, but that's a story you can ask him about another time.
Even though he started writing lyrics and freestyled a lot during his childhood, he didn't officially release a mixtape until around 2008. Following that, he was on a run of remixing several songs which lead to his follow up projects "Flawless Victory", "The Gifted Remix Fixer Upper" and "The Gifted Remix Fixer Upper 1.5". While working on his debut album, he made the decision to step away from music to focus on building a family. In 2012, he released his final project "Gone, Hopefully Not Forgotten" which was a collection of original songs meant for the album.
In September 2016, Dogsta returned to the music scene with a new project titled "Start From Scratch" using inspiration from an episode of Martin. Following that, his next release "No One Is Listening" came in 2018. Shortly after while promoting the project, he heard beats from Lil Shipe, and instantly stopped promoting that project to focus on recording his best work to date since his return. "Shipe Made Me Do It" was released August 2018 but re-released with an extra song March 2019. He also released a new mixtape the same month titled "Ransomware" rapping over other beats. During this time, he was starting to build a buzz with the music while being a host on The Core 94 shows.
As he ended his show late 2019, he started to focus on his next project expected to be released in 2020. Not knowing the pandemic would change things, the project was released late 2021. That project, being his best project to date, is TBD. An album taking you on a journey of different vibes and storytelling that's guaranteed to be an instant favorite. Read more on Last.fm.
