Sheree Plett is a fresh young artist whose songs and performances have been captivating audiences for the past few years, both in the large and busy music scene of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as the incredibly active scene in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her natural beautiful voice wraps itself around the deeply personal, poetic lyrics, creating a very organic sound that gives expression to a wide range of human emotion. Sheree released her first album titled "Hold Still" in May of 2003. Since its release, she signed on with an independent record label, "Worship Circle Records", owned and operated by Ben Pasley of Enter the Worship Circle. However things didnt seem to merge with where Sheree was heading, and after one year, she parted ways with the label. The experience gained Sheree some more insight into the music industry and was a big help for submerging her music into a much broader variety. Gaining fans from as far south as Florida, to as far north as Prince George, B.C and even receiving recognition in the UK. Sheree has done nothing but work hard and keep her musical nose to the grindstone. Sheree's new album in the works, titled "Red Circled Heart", is a significant evolution from her debut. The new album was recorded at Buena Vista Audio in Langley, BC by Steve Klassen (Lance Odegard, Sterr, Eisenhauer) and Jonathan Anderson (Jonathan Inc, Maplewood Lane, In Medias Res) and delves deeper into sonics and arrangements than it's predecessor. Likely to surprise some fans, the album hits higher highs with the intense "Soldier" and the spare and somber "Pressed Flowers". This time out Sheree recorded with her band that have been playing together for the past year rather than bringing in studio players and the result is a more collaborative and distinct effort.
