Though only 25, Todd Rukes is no novice when it comes to song writing. From as early as 10 years old, he and his buddies would sit around writing songs in his school’s band room, in a small community just south of Chicago. He then picked up a guitar at the age of 13. This eventually led him to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he earned degrees in Music and Business. He continued studying and performing on his own, and ultimately fronted a school traveling group called "Exodus" that traveled every weekend, playing to thousands of teenagers across the country. During this time, he also found time to pursue his own music. His first EP, "Attractions", was released in the spring of ’10. This EP is a collection of heart felt, ear-pleasing acoustic/pop rock songs. From the catchy “Beautiful Angel” to the wistful duet “Over You,” his songs deal with love, happiness, and life's struggles.
