The Get Alongs is a Toronto-based band playing together since 2017 as a jangly surf-punk group with inspirations ranging from post-punk to classic country. Brothers Harrison and Rory joined up with their childhood best friends Tristan and Eric through their shared love of good tunes and good times. After years of tightening up their live act with their incomparable jams and simple yet swinging music, the band finally settled down and recorded their first homemade EP 'Good Morning' in their basements, friends' houses, and wherever they could get access to some recording gear; essentially boiling down to a 30 dollar microphone and an 8-track. Following up on 'Good Morning, the band released 'Tossing Stones' as a joint effort during the quiet first summer of the pandemic in 2020.

The band's eager attitude toward their live shows and their steadfast effort to keep putting out honest, enjoyable, and energetic music has helped them harness a community of friends, family, and fans that have continued to show up and show love to a group of best friends living out their musical dreams.
