Based out of Durham, North Carolina, Jessica Long & The New Kind is comprised of Michael Bare (bass), Calin Nanney (lead guitar), Drew Walstrum (drums), Tim Fremd (guitar), and Jessica Long (vocals, rhythm guitar, keys).

Jessica’s debut album, Painted (released Feb 2011) produced by Grammy-nominated producer Billy Smiley, features a pallet of Jessica’s original compositions that showcase her exceptional song-crafting skills. The band, originally designed as a backing band to support Painted, quickly developed into Jessica Long & The New Kind, and has been touring nationally ever since.
A fusion of Jessica’s song-writing skills and gorgeous vocals, along with the outstanding musicality of the band, Jessica Long & The New Kind has developed a fresh new sound emerging on the scene.
